Made Crystal Clear is a small independent book series by Christophe Paka. This page explains, in plain terms, what data the site collects and why. Last updated September 2026.
What we collect
- Feedback form: the book and chapter you select, a feedback category, your message, an optional screenshot you attach, and your browser's user-agent string. We do not ask for your name or email.
- Newsletter: your email address, and which page you subscribed from.
- Analytics: if enabled, privacy-friendly, cookie-less aggregate stats (via Plausible). No personal profiles, no cross-site tracking.
- Advertising pixels (only with your OK): the Meta pixel and the Reddit pixel, so the books can be shown again to people who visited this site. They record the pages you view, which book page you open, and clicks on the Amazon, Kindle and free-copy buttons, tied to the book. They set their own cookies and send that data to Meta and Reddit under their privacy terms. Nothing loads until you accept the cookie banner; refuse and no pixel is ever loaded.
How we use it
Feedback is used only to improve the books. Your email is used only to send you a short note when a new book ships. We never sell or rent your data, and we don't run ads.
Who processes it
Data is stored with Supabase (database and file storage) and the site is served via Cloudflare. Emails are sent with Resend. These providers process data on our behalf under their own security and privacy terms.
Cookie choice
One first-party cookie, mcc_consent, remembers your answer to the banner for six months. Change it here at any time.

You can unsubscribe from the newsletter at any time using the link in any email, or the unsubscribe page. To request access to or deletion of data you've submitted, email christophe.paka@gmail.com and we'll take care of it.
